Create your own card contest
The 2025 CYOC Winner
Every year, players design a card. The best of them get printed.
Each year, on or about September 1st, we open the Create Your Own Card contest. Players submit a card — a person, an event, a document — with a short summary of the history and the abilities it should have in the game.
The winner
Takes a cash prize, and their card is printed.
The top 12
Get their creations printed, plus a stack of their own card to give to friends and family. These become rare cards — earned at tournaments or through the Rare Card of the Month essay, never sold in decks or packs.
You can enter as many submissions as you like, and we sometimes choose figures from the
contest when building new Starter Decks — even if they don’t make the top 12.
